Police Housing, LLC offers exclusive housing for all first responders from police officers to police academy cadets (SLEO) with housing located exclusively in Wildwood and Wildwood Crest.

Our Mission

Police Housing provides safe, affordable, and conveniently located seasonal housing in Wildwood and Wildwood Crest, NJ for all first responders, from police officers to SLEO I & II officers who are training at the Cape May County Police Academy.

We remove the burden of securing affordable housing for all our first responders as well as our future officers (SLEO I & II) who are in training. This allows all of them to focus on their responsibilities to their communities as well as important academy training.

Police Housing was founded to address a critical and urgent need. Many cadets and officers face long commutes or struggle to find safe and affordable housing near Cape May County Police Academy and their sponsoring police departments. These challenges create unnecessary stress during an already demanding period of training and service.

With decades of property management experience, we established dedicated seasonal housing in Wildwood and Wildwood Crest in order to service the police departments along the New Jersey shore line from Ocean City all the way down to Cape May for their summer seasonal demands.

Over 10 years ago, our police housing program began with a mission. I heard about a SLEO II cadet who had fallen asleep at the wheel while driving back and forth from the police academy because he could not obtain affordable housing close to the academy.

At the time, I had already been a landlord for 25 years and owned several properties contiguous to the Cape May County Police Academy in Wildwood and Wildwood Crest. I realized I could dedicate a few properties to help address this urgent need.

That dedication became Police Housing, LLC.

Police Housing, LLC provides exclusive seasonal housing for SLEO I & II officers, Cape May County Police Academy cadets, police officers, and first responders, with properties located exclusively in Wildwood and Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. Our housing is approximately 10 minutes from the Cape May County Police Academy, reducing commute time so cadets and officers can focus on academy training and demanding work schedules. We offer safe and affordable seasonal housing with private and shared room options available based on overall occupancy and application timestamp priority. Assignments operate on a first-come, first-served basis determined by application submission time and occupancy needs; applicants do not select a specific house or unit, and placements may include private rooms, shared rooms, and private bathrooms when available.

Living alongside fellow officers and cadets fosters a supportive, team-oriented environment that helps reduce stress, improve focus, and build resilience during academy sessions and seasonal assignments. We offer discounted peak-season rates compared to traditional summer rentals in the Wildwood area, with housing available for both Winter Academy sessions and Summer seasonal work. Our locations provide convenient access to coastal municipalities including Stone Harbor, Sea Isle City, Cape May, Middle Township, and surrounding Cape May County departments.

*Housing assignments are based on occupancy needs, application timestamp, room availability, and approved group placements, and when minimum officer participation is not met, rooms may include qualified civilian or international J-1 participants to ensure full utilization of space.
